Hi Im DJ Slade and I am passionate about DJ'ing. I enjoy playing for a variety of people, both young and old and making the crowd happy. For me there is nothing better than hearing the shouts of excitement over and above the music from the dance floor as you bring in the next hit that everybody loves.
I have always had a strong love for music since a young boy. I used to walk around with an old sony cassette walkman, listening to all sorts of music tapes that i could find. I have DJ'd for many events including 13ths, 16ths, 18ths, 21sts, Matric and Grade 11 dances. As well as Weddings and corporate functions, for clients such as Group Five, Deloitte and PKF accounting firm and many more over the last seven years.
I look forward to everything this industry has to offer, as I have thoroughly enjoyed it this far. I am more than excited to make your event the great success that it should be.
I believe that good music plays a key role in the success of the function. It decides wether people in your office or your wedding guests either go home early, or tell everyone about the great time they had at your wedding or corporate function for weeks to come.
Being punctual and reliable is of high value to me. Time is money, and there is nothing worse than a late DJ. I prefer to be set up with a sound check done long before the guests arrive. I am also always happy to take requests.

| My first impression on meeting him is that he had the good looks and charisma but he looked fairly young. However his professionalism overshadowed my worries and he immediately did a needs analysis and we were thorough with our expectations.
Slade is certainly a people's person and we were confident that he understood our requirements.
Serveral communique passed between us which provided further clarification and my husband and I felt we had made the correct choice of dj and mc. As the day of wedding dawned we were anxious as to the experience Slade had has he is fairly young. However he worked diligently with wedding coordinators to provide the best entertainment. We were most impressed with his mc abilities as he had perfect crowd control and enjoyment of the evening. His jokes was non offensive and drew laughter from a predominantly Indian orthodox gathering which truly is no easy task. He truly rose up to the challenge. The music was spot on he read the crowd and played accordingly. Dancing the night away in my wedding gown with family and friends was truly epic. Slade certainly delivered a memorable service which will be captured in our hearts forever. Well done Top Jocks on a job well done and to Slade our greatest gratitude for an epic celebration made possible only by you. |
